Prayer & Healing Ministries
Prayer Ministry is a foundational part of the ministry of Lutheran Church of the Master. We encourage all believers to be faithful and consistent in seeking a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer and fellowship with God on a daily basis.
Sunday Morning Prayer Room
You are invited to come to the prayer room each Sunday between worship services to receive prayer for yourself or another. Each Sunday morning from 9:00-9:30 AM and from 10:30-11:00 AM our prayer ministers are available in the prayer room to pray with you and lift up your needs before God. The prayer room is also available during the week for those who would like to spend time in quiet contemplation before God.
Sunday Morning Intercessors
Our intercessors gather each Sunday beginning at 7:00 AM to pray for our worship services and for those who are attending worship that day.
Saturday Morning Intercessors
This group of intercessors meets in the prayer room from 9:00-10:00 AM each Saturday morning to pray for the needs of others.
Pastor’s Prayer Partners
A group of intercessors who sense a calling from God to pray specifically for our pastoral staff throughout the month.
Prayer Network
A confidential network of intercessors who pray in their homes for special needs both within and beyond the congregation.
24 Hours of Prayer
Our congregation joins for a 24 hour prayer vigil 2-3 times per year to pray for the needs of our congregation, community, and world.
Prayers for Brooklyn Center
LCM is a lead congregation in a new community wide effort to pray for a spiritual and awakening and revival in Brooklyn Center. The group of intercessors from the congregation and community meet once per month for a time of prayer.
Prayer Retreats
Several times each year our Prayer Ministry Team offers special teachings on prayer to encourage and support believers in their walk with Jesus Christ
Anytime Prayer
When you worship at LCM you will often find our pastors, staff, and members of the congregation praying for those with special needs informally. We are all ministers of Christ and encourage everyone to be actively involved in this important ministry.
