Vision Statement
Lutheran Church of the Master's vision is to thrive and to grow as a christ-centered, Spirit-directed congregation comitted to developing and equipping believers who are empowered to serve as ministeres and leaders in the Kingdon of God and who positively impact our world with the power of Jesus Christ.
In order for that mission and vision to be fulfilled, we are focused on developing and expanding ministry in three arenas...
- Ministry within our congregation with an emphasis on:
- Inspirational worship that touches the heart
- Teaching that encourages and builds discipleship/lives of faith and experience of God's power (receiving from God)
- Develop and encourage ministry opportunities for believers to more confidently use their spiritual gifts (being used by God)
- Create and perpetuate a stable, inviting and welcoming environment that encourages people to come. feel at home and actively serve Jesus Christ.
- Ministry to and within our community with an emphasis on:
- Developing ministries that interface with the community, meet needs in the lives of others, and encourage involvement in our congregation
- Expanding the outreach of our gospel into our surrounding communities
- Develop a high profile community presence
- Ministry that reaches out to impact the world of Jesus Christ
- Expansion of short-term mission trips
- Development of an extended Ministry in another part of the world
- Promote a wider vision of the Gospel and our Ministry through mission education
